Very few got relevant motives. Before then, I saw a lady sharing her frustration in marriage and that's because the marriage was built on wrong foundation.
Now I'm posing the question to you all... Can you answer it and be sincere with yourself?
What you should know about marriage
Marriage was initiated in order to HELP/SUPPORT and ACCOMPANY each other most especially in fulfilling PURPOSE and VISION.
Gen 2:18 said it. Any other reasons are secondary. SEX is pleasure in marriage not a motive why Marriage was initiated. CHILDREN are blessing in marriage, not a motive why Marriage was initiated.
The MOST RELEVANT REASON why you should want to marry is to get a COMPANION and HELPER. I don't know if someone is getting this right?
Your motive for going into marriage does a lot of things one of which it helps you to choose wisely, diligently and patiently; plus waiting on God.
For instance, you want to marry because you need a COMPANION, you will definitely choose the one who is fit for that title. (Someone you can rub mind with, you both say the same thing, share same value and all that. )
Not because of beauty ( as if marriage is a beauty contest) , or because s/he can sing, write, preach, whatsoever...NAH! That's when you will understand the context of COMPATIBILITY.
When we're saying examine the COMPATIBILITY of that person, some people don't understand simply because their motive for getting married is wrong.
The risk of it all is when you say you want to marry a particular person because you love him/her ONLY. Have you counted the cost?😱 LOVE IS NEVER ENOUGH!
Although LOVE cannot be remove from the equation, aside Christ being the centre, LOVE CROWN 👑 IT ALL!
But getting married to him/her just because of love without considering if s/he is fit to be your companion and helper can end up being frustrating. Then you begin to ask yourself if you truly love the person at first.
Now you know the important of having a VISION before thinking of Marriage. Is it not when you have vision that you will search wisely the one who would support your VISION and be your COMPANION.
Adam already has a ministry before God get him HELPER/COMPANION to support him. If you're yet to have a VISION, I'm sorry to say, you're a boy/girl. And you know Marriage is not for boys and girls.
RETHINK!👌Don't RUSH neither should you be desperate. In case you still find it hard to accept this, remember is not my philosophy,
